We are shifting focus. We intend to create a short tutorial video to present to the staff. Our initial plan to present to the staff using PowerPoint / handouts seemed to be BORING. We want participant ENGAGEMENT.

Entry 2
As we continued to troubleshoot, we realized that the personal project presents students with a way to explore and research topics that interest them. These topics are not MANDATED. This provides a way for us to reach students on a personal level. The personal project IS student engagement.

We continued to discuss that ALL students MUST complete a personal project. These projects are externally moderated. It is basically a student lottery.

Entry 1
During our first meeting as a team, we brainstormed and determined that our overarching goal was to come up with an appropriate method to provide awareness to the staff (of Hoover High School) of the requirements of the personal project. We identified that our global context as Identities and Relationships.
